WHO ARE WE?

Versus Motorsport, Inc., a company that was established in 1994 in Glendale, Arizona having its core roots in the beginning of the Import Car Culture era. Started with 1,000 square feet facility, Versus Employees which are our partners, live these culture each and everyday and are thus some of the most informed Car Enthusiast in the business. Since the beginning, our company in Arizona has served both the wholesale and retail markets. In 1999, VERSUS expanded to a second location with 5,000 square foot facility dedicated to wholesale only locate in Los Angeles Southern California. Our move cemented our position as one of the Designs Innovator and Major Brand Developer in the import marketplace. This result brought us closer to our contacts from the OE car manufacturers, to magazine editors, and industry innovators.

VERSUS is no stranger when it comes to set trends in the Tuner Industry. Our first Brand was “Kosoku Sports” which partnering with RJ DeVera and he is now named by SEMA and many other players in the industry as the new generation GOD Father of Import Car Culture. RJ DeVera is working on our brand and product development until today. Then we developed “Import Showoff” Brand Aerodynamic enhancement with Ken Miyoshi of Mainstream Production which the First and most respectful JDM Import Car Show until today. Together, we partnered launching the Showoff Brand Body Kits, which set a new standard in the Tuner Industry. Because off the Showoff Body Kits was such a huge success, it was copied by many others but we continue expand working with many other respectful companies and become leaders in the art of Aerodynamics.

In an effort to continue our trendsetting ways, we at VERSUS had a desire to take the market to a new level thus our Pure Styling launch in 2001. Our very first product was produced in conjunction with Meguiars Integra Type R Project. The car was covered on the cover of Super Street magazine shortly thereafter. After the successful release of the Meguiars Signature Series, we concentrated our efforts to expand the complete Pure Styling line. Pure Styling developed as a perfect fitting, OEM SPEC Body Kits mainly using rigid Poly-Urethane material. Year 2001 also a big year for us as we also working with the legendary movie The Fast and The Furious staring our Honda S-2000 and RJ DeVera.

By 2002, we were happy to announce the release of many other Body Kits Brand Partnering with the most respectable companies such as 5-Axis, American Honda, RO_JA Ground Effect, Sparco, Super Street and Parotech.

VERSUS continue expand its business by breaking through European market which the First American Company in Tuner Car Body Kit open its door to France Market.

At the same time, our Brand was licensed out to many different Die-Cast companies making scaled car toys such as Jada Toys Mattel, Modified Car, Norev of France, Muscle Machines, Radio Shacks and SST by Super Street magazine with more than 100 different car toys which believe to be the most Body Kit Brand licensed on the market until today.

We moved to a 30,000 square foot state of the art freeway front facility in early 2003 to better serve the needs of our clients. We are continually growing our stock inventory as we aim to eliminate backorders. We then bringing more brands such as Charge Speed and JDM FRP from Japan which introducing Fiberglass quality Body Kits to the next level. Both brands have the best Light Weight Fiber Composites quality ever made in the world. Its have perfect fit, no-wavy, smooth finish and ready to paint as OEM products. This also lead us worked with 2Fast 2Furious, the second movies of The Fast and the Furious by their requests of using our high quality products for their 4 cars including the infamous Suki’s Honda S-2000, Ludaris’s Acura NSX, Wide Body Toyota Supra and Mazda RX-7.

In 2004, we introduced Carbon-Pro developing many private label brand using Carbon Fiber and other Composite Materials.

In 2005, we started a new division called Grease Monkey Outfitting Co. with mostly developing licensed merchandise under HONDA & ACURA brand including Civic, Vtec and Type-R. We at VERSUS love our Tuner Rides but it almost impossible to find an awesome street culture fashionable wear to complement our rides. VERSUS vision for GMO apparel to innovate and bringing street culture wear for the Tuner enthusiasts.

In late 2006, we start developing OEM style spoilers in ABS plastic and Poly-urethane materials. The quality of these spoilers is according to OEM spec and we do offer painted with OEM quality paint. We understand it has been a very difficult time for end user to find affordable painted spoilers at a reasonable price so we created this line to provide our customers with state of the art computer color code matching technology at affordable price.

Throughout the year, VERSUS has been doing business and market its products globally  in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, England, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South America, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Romania and Russia and so on as well as different marketing avenues such as project cars and medias including SEMA shows, magazines, games, videos, TV shows, and movies and last but not least talented racers such as legend Jojo Callos, Stephan Papadakis, Daijiro Yoshihara, and Tanner Foust and so on.
